The Blade 10D EVO Electric Scooter is the high powered version of the Blade 10. With spring suspension and 2400 watts of power, the 60-volt battery delivers all the torque you would expect. At just 33kg and with a solid carry handle built in you can pop it in the boot of the car and off you go. It is exceptionally comfortable and with hydraulic brakes and indicators.

Powerful

The dual 1200w motors and 30 amp sinewave controllers give this e-scooter a really nice acceleration curve; punchy  but not mental. It flies up hills and the top speed of 55km/h is way more than most of us will ever want to travel. 

The newest iteration of the Blade 10 electric scooter now has a 60v 28.8amp/h battery which does not disappoint. It has fantastic acceleration and should easily return a 50 - 60km range, even ridden reasonably fast, though the weight of the rider does affect this.

Comfortable

Blade have really made the right decision putting hydraulic brakes on their scooters. Hydraulic brakes give smooth, even braking even in emergency situations.

The ride quality on the Blade 10D e-scooter really is as good as other brands that cost a bit more. The Spring suspension front and rear coupled with 10 x 3 inch pneumatic tyres cope with high speed really well and we were comfortable on our test rides. Because of its suspension arm design the Blade 10D will carry heavier riders with ease, without the price tag of more powerful scooters.

Features

The TFT screen gives you programming control over all the ride parameters, the power and lighting, and the acceleration. Simple locking and unlocking with the nfc key card so your scooter is immobilised when you lock it and will not power on. You can even lock and unlock with your phone.

We just love the LED lights because they give you such great visibility day and night. The front headlamp is powerful enough for night riding although as always we recommend extra lights on your helmet, handle bar or jacket to make you more visible to others.

The tail light indicators are operated from the handle bar. These alone got our attention and we think all scooters should have indicator lights as standard.

Having a telescopic stem  is another design decision that suits this e-scooter down to the ground. Being able to adjust the height to suit yourself is sensible ergonomics. It is a great feature that other similar scooters do not have. 

The key card offers an extra layer of security and the TFT screen gives you the control and comfort you are looking for in your ride.

POWERFUL MOTOR AND BATTERY

The GTS Evo Series 2023 stands at the front of the line among other top-of-the-line e-scooter brands because of its powerful motor and battery.

When it comes to motor power, the classic GTS Evo has a single motor of 1000 W while the GTS Max Evo has a dual motor of 1200 W. With this, power is in your hands!

The battery on the other hand was co-engineered by Mearth and LG, but the capacities for both models differ with 13 Ah for the GTS Evo and 20.4 Ah GTS Max Evo. The charging time however remains the same for both models with 6 hours for a full charge.

Fully charged, the max range is 70 km for the GTS Evo and 100 km for the GTS Max Evo.
